F.A.Q.

[learn_more caption=”What is the ACMHE?”] This conference is the annual gathering of the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education (ACMHE). Founded in 2008, the ACMHE is a membership association of academic professionals committed to the transformation of education through the integration of contemplative dimensions of teaching, learning, and knowing.

The ACMHE is an initiative of The Center for Contemplative Mind in Society (CMind), a 501-c (3) non-profit organization which works to integrate contemplative awareness and contemporary life in order to help create a more just, compassionate, reflective, and sustainable society. Since 1997, the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society has played a leading role in supporting contemplative practice and inquiry as a method of personal and social change for all; we’ve worked with colleges and universities since our founding, and we’ve focused our efforts within higher education since 2010.[/learn_more]
